Info on the pennies in the picture.

    I've had these pennies for 25 years. They don't look like the copper was removed. They look and sound like pewter or aluminum alloy. 1986, 1990 & 1992. Any help is appreciated.

    They are zinc. The copper plate has been removed.

    I would like a lot like that, where the emphasis was on the pennies and people didn't notice the 1885. Of course several would notice it too. I bought a lot of Barber halves I think around $9 a piece and noticed a 1913 in it. I also like the dime looks like XF or higher, where most common coins jump in price.
