I picked up 2 of them today @ dollar tree. I got this safe a while ago, it was $1 because it has no key, I worry about fire more than thieves. Now I put my whitman box and that inside of it.
Safes shouldn't be air tight, as it makes them unreliable when opening the door if pressure changes were to occur and outside pressure became higher than inside when closed. Maybe not on a small safe as this, but larger ones would.

I guess things are bad enough in China also. I went back to get some more, and the new ones are made by the same company, but only 7 oz. insteadd of the 9.8( measureed 10 oz. ) in the one I photographed. Also smaller case, no internal plastic separator, so one might have to improvise. Or maybe these are chinese counterfeits of a chinese product? Just kidding.
