Overall it was a really good show. Lot of dealers and a lot of people were all in attendance. My goal was the following:

    1.) 1909 S Lincoln Cent
    2.) 1916 S Walking Liberty Half
3.) Just for fun classic commemorative.

If any of the above would fall through, I would focus on a couple moderns:

1.) Wisconsin quarter extra leaf high
2.) Wisconsin quarter extra leaf low
3.) George Bush reverse proof presidential dollar

Sadly, the show was a gross fail for me. I could not find the cent, half, quarters or dollar. It is alright though, some shows you win, some you lose.

Still, I did find a classic commemorative. My first, the Oregon trail, was purchased two years ago at a show and I really like the idea of one and done and just buying what looks good to me. So, I came home with this one today...

I rarely found anything that I actually went to a coin show to look for. Sometimes I did stumble on something else that I really liked but most of the time I think it was just desperation--trying to find anything to salvage an otherwise wasted trip.

I'm glad I got on the interwebbie.
