Indian Head Cent PMD or not?

    So is this just PMD or rim-restricted second strike? If the former why is the rim all beat up but no real hits anywhere else? Notice the hits on the reverse at 1100 to 1130 seems too perfect and all right on the rim in also a pattern. The opposite to that area shows damage to the rim as well.     I have uploaded the reverse first so that the obverse "hits" are just below the reverse opposite and corresponding rim damage.

    Hi:)

    Imho, it looks like damage.
    I do not see any design on the rim that would suggest a rim restricted second strike.
    Copper is soft and easy to mark and damage.

    Rim damage. But a beautiful coin nonetheless.
