    Hello! :woot::cat:
    I am new to the world of coin collecting... so I'm excited to learn from all of you experienced coin collectors in this forum :bookworm::bookworm:
    I'm here because I'm working on a big public art project that needs a TON of 2020 pennies to use to buy food and donate to small businesses. I've been searching Ebay and local banks for weeks but haven't had much luck with finding the volume of pennies we need :dead:
    Is there anyone out there with leads/ suggestions??? Or pennies for sale???

    Any help SO appreciated :oops:

    peace and love

    Welcome to CT, Emeline!

    You're gonna stir up the Penny vs. Cent debate (again). :D
    Just curious...why just 2020? Is it for the date or for the uniform appearance?

    Have you asked your bank to order them? It doesn't always work.

    Welcome to CT.

    Suggestion, Use the OBVERSE (date side) of 2020 CENTS for one important part of the image and do the rest with the REVERSE of any cent. Problem solved! :smuggrin:

    Well, regardless of how you display them it's still about 7,258 rolls.
    Wishing you best of luck;
    Please, once your project is completed do post a picture :)

    On another forum I suggested the Mint's bulk purchase program where he could literally buy a ton of them, an entire ballistic bag. Of course with the coin shortage it wouldn't surprise me if they had suspended that option.
