You collect as you like, fellows, and I'll collect as I like. We run in different circles and never the twain shall meet......
I like your airplane. I started building model cars in 1962. I had to lock them away. When my mother would clean my room, she would, for whatever reason, drop one of them, which gave me a reason to buy and build another car. However, in 1968, I got drafted. Basic at Bragg (Liberty, now), AIT at Dix, Jump School at Benning, and back to Bragg (82nd). It seemed that are time was "Hurry up, and wait.) Anyway, I got interested in model airplanes. My wife bought a curio and she put the completed models in the curio. Whenever we have guests, It seems they are mesmerized by my models. I've built for money, but not many. My model is an F14S, which was the last modification they did. It was a U.S. Navy bird flown by Lt. Cunningham. I can't remember his Rios name. They were a real feather in the Navy's hat, so to speak. However, poor Randy was elected a Congressman and was a sucker for money. He got caught breaking a few laws and got to spend some time in prison. I still like his airplane though. I built a 1/32 scale of of his plane. He wrote a nice letter.
