    ...just found it among a few others in my jar. I've always held onto wheat pennies but today I decided to check them out.

    What is the reason why you think it's special? Circulated 1944 cents are not very valuable. Also I would suggest that you not put any coins on a nail file as it may scratch them.

    I'm guessing that the one on top weighs more than the one on the bottom. Either that, or she is trying to tell us that the batteries in her scale went dead.
