I'm researching. I have a dozen or more websites bookmarked on my computer. I bought some guy from on here is coin grading book I bought the Mega Red book I have books galore that I have ordered. But there's still that doubt of is it really what it looks like? or is it something?? or am I missing something ?? or can I learn about something that I'm not that familiar with?? or something new??

That's why there are forums, I thought, like coin talk to come to to seek a more expert opinion.

But the attitude, the sarcasm and being the butt of jokes that us newbies get from the established people is ridiculous. Oh shield nickel error discovered! The coin is from 1867. 1867! Do you know that means? This coin has been out there How long before someone found it? So what's the possibility that somebody else can find another coin that hasn't been discovered? Oh sure, I understand it's slim but it can be done! And I do understand that what's the chance of getting something in circulation? Oh, it can be slim but it's still done!! or people would not look. I understand that the odds are astronomical but that doesn't mean that people should be blown off, joked about or have to face sarcasm when they come to this site. I said, " oh well you should let me buy them. so I can go through them. You're never going to have the time to go through them." And he goes " oh no, no! I can't do that! there might be something in there!"
