My grandfather recently died and left me his coin collection. Wow, did he ever have a collection. I've enjoyed looking through them, but I've found 2 coins and I have no idea what they are or what they're worth. Can anyone help? http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f273/catcardlady/20150904_152432_zps4nyxgzjj.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f273/catcardlady/2015-09-04 15.39.17 1_zpsiy3icqbx.jpg
My condolences on your grandfather. The one in the image above is a 1984 Olympic Games commorative coin and the other is an American silver eagle. I'm not really up to speed with the value of these, but they are pretty common. They are an ounce of silver each though.
The 1984 S Silver Proof Olympic Games Commemorative Dollar is 90% silver and has .7736 oz of silver in it. They made 1,801,210 of them. Worth about $25-30 when/if you decide to sell it.
