Well everything has been listed on eBay. I have 6 nicer coins put back to send to PCGS once I find somebody willing to submit them. I also have a small tote of cheap coins that I'm going to sell 4 for a dollar at the flea market. Once it's all said and done, after getting some debts paid down, I will have about $500 in capital to use with my business. That $500 is not getting spent on personal items, just various things I can sell at various venues. I realized that the value of my collection isn't very high (like in the tens of thousands), and it's a good asset to liquidate and put to better use. Instead of having that asset sit around, I can hopefully turn that $500 into $1,500 by year's end to help with moving expenses. I will start collecting again once in college, a little at a time (depending on how much rent and other items will be). When I get a good job I will be collecting full time again. Also in the mean time I'm going to try and hone my coin collecting skills and better myself on various educational subjects. I might even take the ANA correspondence courses as well. I have a year of numsimatic news subscription left, so I will take time to read things in there as well. I realize that coin collecting and working for minimum wage are not a good mix. There are tons of MS grade early British coins that can be had for a fraction of US coins, but it's hard to drop $1,000 on a coin when you don't make that in 2 months. I don't really consider my collection being gone a big loss, it was fun collecting, I actually enjoy hunting down coins to buy. Nothing in my collection was rare or hard to replenish, so it won't be much of a task to replenish it. I will still be on here, to identify and estimate grades for commonwealth coins. I will still be selling coins I find at shows, and other places.
