Again many of us tried to be helpful, informative and insightful. The few that got nominated were largely from a small group of people and all nominations appeared to be made by the same people for the same people&#039;s posts.</p><p><br /></p><p>It seemed kind of cliquey to me and honestly it contributed to why I stopped trying so hard.</p><p><br /></p><p>I now just post what I post, I answer what I answer and you can all keep the recognition. I know that there are several here that respect me, and value my opinion as well as respect what I have to add.</p><p><br /></p><p>The recognition would be nice, but it&#039;s not what I am here for. Something that I have seen in other places is awards that are given by the owners of the site to people that they feel are helpful, have given long service, helped to run things, etc.</p><p><br /></p><p>Leaving an award to be given by the masses turns into a popularity contest after a while. If you want to encourage good posts, then you (the site owners) should award and reward good posts, behavior, etc.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
