Illegal to Import Roman Imperials in the Near Future?

    I recently came across an article regarding the US State Dept and US Customs and an upcoming renewal of an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) that would expand current restrictions of importing Roman Imperial coinage. There must be some validity to the article because I was able to find a link to message our leaders on the regulations.gov page which must be done by 3/20 to make a change to what will most likely pass unless action is taken.

    Has anyone heard of this, is it common knowledge? What do people think this will do to prices of existing pieces here in the USA?

    The notice of MOU renewal and expansion has been posted here, on other ancient coin forums, and by email to subscribers of various entities such as Ancient Coin Collectors Guild. It's a good idea to post it again though, and an even better idea to submit your opposition on the renewal. You can do that here:
