I'll Bet Y'all Have Never Seen one of These Before!!!

The link I posted did not have auctions that all ended on the same day,,,
I think Chip has it right, I'm gonna guess that Heritage won these all on a minimum bid (at least what they considered min) and based off of what I now see:
1 - Heritage has been winning a lot of these. So, Low demand for this date.
2 - The floor and Heritage's price support for this date, and obviously the 42/1 merc, has changed,, looks like it has been reduced significantly.

... I wonder if Heritage is poised to reduce some of it's inventory at market price now,,,, or it they simply reduced thier limit on some series that present low collector price support (maybe just normal operations)....... Either way, I like it !! Nice coins at cheaper price,, I can digg it !!

BTW,, I had never seen a PL half cent until this one..... Sweet !

Very nice coin. Of course, Mark is right, and prooflike braided hair half cents are not common at all. Congrats, you got the look of a proof without the price tag!
