But where's Waldo? Late to the game, but let me play: You can precede everything here with "I see what looks to me like..." The edge of a coin, almost horizontal, with a fiber and possibly some other debris adhering to it. The entire image is heavily color-shifted toward yellow/orange, making it hard to judge color; the coin could be silver, gold, or possibly copper/nickel. Heavily worn vertical reeds. They appear to be evenly spaced. The reeds do not extend to either face of the coin (they appear to be worn away). Some reeds appear to have a darker and yellower tone at their center. A couple of the spaces between reeds have a similar darker/yellow tone. Some spaces between reeds have a dark deposit or toning. So does part of the upper edge. The lower edge is in shadow, so I can't see whether it has the same discoloration. Horizontal grooves crossing multiple reeds, looking like worn file marks. They seem to be in parallel sets, but some are sloped slightly downward or upward; to the left, some are sloped more steeply from lower-left toward upper-right. One prominent but short groove is at the center of the photo, angled at perhaps 30 degrees clockwise from vertical, unlike all the other grooves. Lastly, it looks like there might be a bend in the coin; the leftmost part seems horizontal, but most of the edge is tipped slightly counterclockwise from horizontal. This might be an artifact of the camera setup.
