Won this auction on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380391992606?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Overall, I think I got a pretty good deal. Bought the set for $56.38, the melt value of the 10 40% silver coins is around $90, and the face value of the cupronickel clad pieces is $16, meaning I bought approximately $106 for $56, even if you ignore any numismatic value. The thing is, when the item arrived, all of the coins seem to have PVC damage and the 40% silver appeared to have be turning green around the edges. So, for me, not items I want in the collection. So, thinking about flipping the coins back onto eBay and seeing if I can break even after eBay fees. Might break the silver and clad up and sell separately. Not sure. Hoping I'm able to find someone to pay near-melt for the 40% silver.

Thoughts?
