The problem is that the standard order form typically has a line for each denomination, but does not have a line for the large size dollar (it does have a line for the small size). But if you can get the ordering person to WRITE in that they want the large size dollars you can probably get them. After all they didn't melt them down, so the Fed is probably sitting on a bunch of them and they would probably be happy to get rid of them.
