A friend sent me a photo of a CRH find from the bank I have never found an IHC in circulation or roll-hunting. How many have found them?
That's a nice looking one! I found a 1904 in a box just last week. They are pretty rare though. Maybe 1 every $500 of cents searched.
Never an IHC. I did receive a worn slick V-nickel in change from an oceanside watering hole a few years back though.
Besides the indians my only V-nickel find(oldest nickel) and two mercs my only pre-Roosevelt era dimes.Nothing special for quarters or halves, someone did find a seated liberty coin @NLL.
My first find was an 1875 s/s twenty cent coin. Others were a 1932D quarter. A 1916d Mercury dime. In change a Gold Certificate 1928 $100.00. A 1934A $500.00 FRN note Also collects all the "Star Notes" I find.
I did have a lot of help back then. Dad, mom, aunts, uncles, neighbors. A lot of people looking for me.
I wish I could but have to find a way to load such. My daughter just said I needed a new phone. I have had an old flip phone for over twenty years that were combat style. I could drop it off a roof and it would not break. I had to change from a 3G to a 5G. Still not sure how it works. So if I can it will be later when one of my kids can do it. I have been collecting coins since 1954 and currency since 1992.
Potty Dollar, I started collecting coins when in the Boy Scout in about 1952/3. Most of my finds were from circulation. I also metal detect.
I found a 1909-VDB in a bank roll last year and yesterday I found a 1965 Rosie on the floor at a Kroger Store.
Um, if you got that in change -- doesn't that mean you spent a $500, $1000, or higher denomination note?
