Try to avoid sellers with private auctions. Try to avoid overseas sellers, unless they have really excellent feedback. A lot of times too, an overseas seller might not accept paypal, and you might go and send them a money order, only to have no recourse in recovering your lost money.</p><p><br /></p><p>6. Always check a sellers feedback. Even if it 99% positive, it may be riddled with negative comments, which may be a good indication that you don't want to buy from them. </p><p><br /></p><p>7. Ebay doesn't seem interested to me in protecting consumers against fraud.
