Both coins you have asked about are not there. The wrong coins are in those holes. The 1909-S is a regular 1909, and the 1931-S had a 1929 in the hole. These are consignment items and I took for granted that they were what they were supposed to be, as I know very little about this type of item. It appears the collector did not have a clue what they were doing. I have immediately refunded your entire payment back to your PayPal account. I'm sure if these 2 coins are not correct, that all the coins will have to be inspected before the items are reauctioned or given back to the consigner. I know very little about coins, and we really don't make that much for listing the items, and I just do not have the expertise or time to sit here trying to sort out this type of mess. I really apologize and I am so happy that you emailed me with your concerns. I was wondering why the coins were bidding high. To me they are just wheat pennies. Let me know your thoughts.

I responded by saying thanks for the honesty

He then sent this back

Thank you for your kind email, and for your understanding. I'm so sorry that this has happened, and I have definately learned to pay closer attention to any coin lots in collector books. Chances are the consigner will just have me take them out of the books, and just sell them as a lot of wheat pennies. Again, I am very sorry this has happened, and I am so very happy that you emailed me in advance before I shipped them.
