I went to my brothers today and he busted out this bag of coins he had. Over the decades hes just tossed in coins from his travels and whatever. I know absolutely nothing about world coins. Having said that we had a blast!!! Sat there with my neice and spent a few hours just googling and researching. I never realized how many different metals, designs shapes and sizes were out there. We actually found some we think would be worth a few bucks. Doesnt matter though because I had a great time just chatting and checking them out. Also, not pictured, my brother bought his house from a lady who was an actress back in the 60s and 70s. I dont think she was extremely wealthy but probably well off. When he was remodeling and putting in new insulation, he found some of these up there....along with silver certificates from the turn of the century and very old one ounce silver bars. Crazy!!! I am going back closer to christmas and going to rifle through all of that again and take some pictures. Hopefully you guys might be able to lend a hand and help identify some of them. The oldest one I seen (badly worn) was what I believe was a British coin from 1802. We found alot of "silver" coins that at least knew had melt value lol!

I just wanted to share this fun adventure. I love anything that can bring family together and maybe motivate a young kid toward anything thats "not plugged in". In the spirit of family and Thanksgiving, thank you to all you guys who have helped me become excited about this wonderful hobby!!!!

CHEERS!!!!!! And happy Thanksgiving!
