I’m trying to learn what doubling actually looks like. Am I correct that this is doubling? 6AD07EAE-98BC-4DBE-B198-606D92516471.jpeg

That's worthless doubling.. Nothing at all to do with a true Doubled Die variety.

    Some information -

well... Kinda? The doubling you will see on many coins will be DDD... Die Deterioration Doubling. As the dies wear out, they begin to shift during the strike, which can give the illusion of a doubled die, instead, its a mechanical thing.

Die deterioration is shown in many ways... From die chips (little raised bits) to the "orange peel" or "cellulite" look I can see on this coin.

Keep lookin..! You'll keep getting closer. This one is a spender but as you look at more you'll catch on ;)

Yes it's Doubling but that style of doubling is from a worn die.
