Identification Help Please

    Roman Empire Coin? 15mm dia, 1.5g weight

    Well, the reverse is clearly a FEL TEMP REPARATIO. Showing a soldier spearing a fallen horseman. The question is, who is on the obverse? The typical suspects are Constantius II, Constans, and Constantius Gallus. Gallus appears bareheaded, and that’s my best guess for this coin. Let’s see what others say.

    I agree that it is indeed a Constantius Gallus. Thanks for the input!

    If I were to guess a mint, it would be Constantinople. Do I see CON in the exergue? I’m not sure, but I think I do.

    This issue with •M• on reverse was only struck for Constantius II and Julian II.
