    Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Trying to attribute some coins Santa Claus will bring me (using my own wallet).
It was attributed by the auction house as Caria. Mylasa circa 210-30 BC. Bronze 11 mm., 1,68 g.
Problem is on Wildwinds I cannot find any match, the coins from this city with horse and trident have a full horse, not just half of it (protome, I learned a new term today).
The style is somehow similar to this coin from Mylasa

    But clearly different.

    Any ideas, please?

    Many thanks!
I also used acsearch but my search terms were front part, protome....
I am not a native English speaker, but doesn't "forepart" (as described on acsearch) mean "back part"? :|

Edit - apparently I was wrong, 2nd term learned today.

    That is a great example!
I purchased this at one of the first coin shows that FFIVN and I attended. The corrosion is such a shame. Same location but just a little older:

    Mylasa, Caria
    AE15
    ca 314 BC
    Obverse: Horse trotting right
    Reverse: MYΛAΣEΩN, ornamented trident
