I personally like littleton, simplistic look, I also have a whitman but I like littleton better, the whitman also has a spot for sacagawea for some reason, littleton doesn't. Sacagaweas started in 2000 so I don't know why whitman includes them
Nice classic green color, uncluttered, and organized well inside, I use them exclusively when it comes to folders, wouldn't dare spend money on their (overpriced) coins though
I will probably use them for all my folders but I like the cornerstone albums but they don't have one for type sets.
you can get pre-made albums and folders but they don't really have exactly this set or what I want. So I like doing my own thing. I get good archive quality flips and good pages to put them in. Put the pages in a common notebook or a nice binder like the link below Here are three links for examples flips http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/product/saflips-2x2.html pages http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/supersafe-archival-pages-20-pocket-2x2.html binder http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/lighthouse-grande-binder-and-slipcase.html
I may have one floating around, I'll have to check. As far as type sets go, I too got the Littleton 20th Century type set album. A fairly easy set to complete if you're going for the lower end of the spectrum for the earlier coins.
Aside from filling the usual holes in the Littleton Type set album I have, I am also collecting a denomination from every decade from 1800-present. I thought that would be kind of neat when it's all done. There are several other things you can do as well. Like Collect all the special issue Kennedy Halves, the key date Merc's and the gold anniversary issue. There are tons of ideas. The fun is in the search. Along with my idea, the dates I choose, well most of them, are special or key dates to me. Birth years of family, friends, pivotal moments in history, and things like that.
