Dansco used to make a nice album called a 7070. You can find them on eBay, but the price is a little stiff. Dansco "claims" they are in the process of updating that album for re-issue, but it's been over 3 years or maybe longer since they've stated that on their website.

You might want to look at Intercept Shield albums. They are made well. You can find them at Wizard Coin Supply. I've purchased many things from them. I find them to be fairly priced, quick to ship and haven't had any problems. I've mostly purchased books from them, but I don't see why a coin album would be any different.

In my opinion, the best short set for low cost is War Nickel Set. Only 11 coins, has historical significance, and contains silver (only nickel to do so).

    Excellent suggestion!

I collected these nickels as a kid in the 50's. First coins in my then-fledgling collection. We called 'em "dirty nickels"... easy to spot in pocket change.

    Really like the extra-large mintmarks.

And is this the only Philadelphia coin that has a "P" of any size?

Yes! The large mintmark in the open field above the dome is classic. It's my favorite part of the coin.

According to the US Mint website, the 1942-P nickel was the first time a "P" mint mark was ever placed on US coinage.
