    Looking for some help identifying a token I recently came across. So far I've found the following:

    * Weighs 8.47 g
    * Obv legend: "NOVUM BIPONTII SÆCVLVM", below: "[?]VSPICIA DVCATV[?]"
    * Reverse seems to be the coat of arms of the German state of Pfalz (Palatinate), and I was able to find a description of the obverse scene in an older German token catalogue (#1448, dated 1734) "Two angels attach a shield to a palm tree," but the catalogue describes an eight-sided coin and the descriptions don't quite match up.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.
