    Hello!

I have an old mystery silver coin which i believe to be an English or German coin 1500 or maybe 1600 but far from sure
I can read "Inperialis" which is a three and there is a tree on both sides inside a shield.
The coins size is about 2.5 cm. diameter.
to bad i don't have a picture but i hope someone can help anyway..
I really would appressiate help on this one !!

Welcome to the forum. There are a number of people who would be glad to help you, but unless one of us is already familiar with the exact coin you are inquiring about, there really isn't enough information in your question.

The legend you quote probably translates best as "Imperial". That makes it unlikely to be British, as the title Emperor of India did not appear on their coinage until a later date than your estimate for the coin's age.

There were a large number of coin-issuing German States in that era, so without more information it would be pretty tough to track your coin down. Is there any additional legend on either side of the coin? What is the design of the shield, and how many segments does it have? Is there any way you can post a picture?
