I've had both of these sitting around for a while, the first was in a 2x2 which can be seen, that's all the information I have. The second came with no information, it reminds me of some sort of maravedis but I can't find an actual match for it online with the search terms I've been using.

    Any help?

The second one looks like Naples, in name of Duke Henry de Lorraine.

Thank you, definitely points me in a direction I hadn't been searching.

SPQN makes me think Neapolitan Republic.
    Here's my Republic of Naples 1648 3 Tornesi: Republic of Naples 1648 3 Tornesi.jpg

    Here's the most similar 1/2 Thaler I could find: Franz I 1811-1815
The pattern around the shield is almost identical.
There's something wrong with that shield though.
Some design elements seem to be missing.

If you look at the margin text of your first specimen combined from the two sides, its reading seems to be "Nürnberger ... Rechenpfennig", so likely not a coin, but a counter.
