Finally have some quality time this weekend to get some organization done on my collection, and found this one that I had completely forgotten about. With big names like Julius Nepos attached to these unassuming monogram coins, I never sell them unless I am 100% sure that it isn't a rarity. This one doesn't seem to be any of the usual suspects - I see either an NB or NR, so I think Leo and Zeno are safe to rule out. It could be a barbarous Marcian, although I have never seen one that looks more like an N than an M. Any ideas?
I don't recognize it. I even tried rotating it 180 degrees to see if that would help, but it didn't: Have you looked here? https://www.forumancientcoins.com/numiswiki/view.asp?key=Monogram
Thanks for taking a look! I checked a few monogram sites, but was not aware of that one! Still no luck, so I guess it gets filed back away with the "no idea" coins.
