    I believe this thread posted here in March of 2020 is a similar design but the reverse character is different. Yours is some deity or personification of something holding a staff and cornucopia. The inscription is not the same.

    Pretty sure yours is a bronze "As" from around 138-161 AD. This would have been worth a quarter of the larger Roman Sestertius in the post above. Then it would take four (of those sestertii in that thread),to get one silver denarius.

    Yours would be the lowest unit of currency circulating at the time similar to like a Roman penny or nickel I suppose.

    A Roman legionary made around 300 silver denarii a year around that time so they needed the bronze variations for smaller purchases in daily commerce.
