ID a coin please

I beg to differ.
My opinion is that this "coin" is neither a 'counter' nor a 'token' , but rather exactly what others (much more knowledgeable members) have called it : a manufactured or homemade 'Magician's Coin", meant for fun, or to actually deceive.
For anyone who has purchased one of these, especially if it was sold as a "rare error", how much did you pay for it?
