I love the idea of the Eagles rotating the classic designs, as for new designs I would welcome new additions, but I feel real artistry should include new twists on our classic concepts. Lady liberty and the eagles are timeless and pure America!! A worthy new generation of these concepts is what our coinage really needs IMO.

I do like the idea of this old beauty on a coin!!

    The reverse look.

I think the Golden dollar with edge in it's current comp with a cupro center would look great!!!

I also think a copper centered coins would really look great.

What material are they using for the gold in the Euro coins? Is it similar to the Sac makeup?

I think we can do better than that. Much better.

I agree, much better, just using these for the bimetal look. If I was better at Photoshop I would make a couple of runs of the combos I mentioned earlier.

This look has some real potential. I would reverse the metals or clearly reduce the copper outer layer, but the copper\clad look could be stunning.

Ruben are you building a list of ideas to press the Gov on?

The pony express would be a good design, or even just horses. Horses played a huge part in all of early American life, so why not put them on a coin? The eagle is a great representation of America, but it never physically helped us accomplish anything. The horse, on the other hand, helped us in battle, transportation, and many other things.
