That would make a perfect reverse of the new Half Dollar with a Minute Man - Flintlock on the Obverse...

Now who wants to design it?

is that being carried by a pauper or lady liberty or are we breaking new ground in American Iconography?

See what is possible when you open up your mind to new ideas ;)

Is that American? Or What? Think we can get rid of George with that?

It should be intuitive, but these things aren't intuitive enough.

Some symbol of our naval history would be cool. I think the USS Missouri would be cool. Also, a properly depicted grain field could be awesome and our soil is helped build this country. Think waves of grain with a faint soaring eagle in the background!

I like the grain field idea and included it on the poll in the over thread. Corn in the forground with the Rockies in the background and an eagle?

And the Obverse would have the train...

What about a quill pen or a handshake?

    Just tossing out ideas......

I was thinking of a wheat field, I think with the proper sky setting and an eagle it could be amazing. I agree with the Eagle Comm comments. Great looking coins. I do believe a modern liberty is a must.

    What about the Washington monument?

maybe too specific. I don't want to go from Washington to his monument anyway.

Lady liberty with a lantern or like that guy who rode around saying the british are coming. My history is muy mal. Lantern with frosted fields, satin lantern and polished rays of light emitting from it.
