I can’t edit or remove my original post, but I apologize that it so deeply hurt Mr Fazzari.

It would be cool if the mods could remove this and my other thread. @GDJMSP

In regards to the coin in the OP, I’m just a 22 year old, I obviously know nothing about numismatics anyway.

    Have a nice day.

Not a smart post. In spite of all the bias, I think ICG is as good as anyone one else in the slabbing business. There's too many out there who think there's only two legit slabbing companies. It ain't so.

ICG definitely doesn’t deserve the bashing it does. As I have previously stated, I have seen many coins in their holders that were solidly graded and of higher quality than their competitors. I do not doubt their skills of authentication either. That said, my OP was not intended to bash them by any means, I was simply pointing out a coin by them that was innacurately represented. That being said, they are just like any TPG, there over graded, undergraded, and solidly graded coins in their holders. I love ICG and will continue to buy their coins in spite of their second rate reputation given to them by many in the field.

BUT- again, the above is just the opinion of a 22 year old that knows nothing about numismatics. So, take what I say with a grain of salt.

What is said as a "joke" or "funny" in print most commonly is not taken as such unless there is a long association of the parties and they can understand it is such. I feel that 1916D10C has made a decent try at an apology , but it was to ICG rather than to the individuals mentioned who are closely tied to the company. Any further interaction on this should be personal and by PM rather than by posting. Jim
