Iceland hasn't released any new coins in 10 years

Iceland's coins are minted by the RCM in Winnipeg. 2011 was the last year coins were minted for circulation. I wonder when and if they will release coins again. I know Iceland has had a financial crisis plus a huge banking scandal but 10 years is a long time.

As cash becomes less common, a lot of countries that were once regularly issuing coins now do so sparingly, if at all. Bermuda and Norway are coming to mind, for example.
