That second one might have a date left when you get it in hand. Think I can make out a 7 and a 6/8/9.
I'm going to send a M/O out for this tomorrow. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1851-xf-/11.../4B7W+nO0i0294hLpcNMefM=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Agree. Every coin needs a home, and for barely more than the price of a fast food meal, (which I am betting ALL of us could stand to skip), you get two old US coppers instead. What the heck is wrong with that? If it were more I may have something to say, but below a certain dollar value, (say $20), I never argue with someone buying any coin. That is such a tiny amount of money nowadays, I am sure a new acquisition ITSELF is worth it in joy to the new owner, regardless of the coin's value, right? Sometimes the board needs to lighten up. A collector got two big ol' copper coins he likes for $10. Cool for him! I would say the same if he bought a chinese cash, a beanie baby, or a baseball card. I bet all of them are worth at least $10 in pleasure if you enjoy them. And, there IS still the chance one of the copper gurus can ID it for him, so even potentially cooler!
So true! Bought a $6 toned USSR proof just because it looked cool. Not sure if I overpaid or whatever, but I like it quite a bit and it was worth every penny.
Ah it was a LCS purchase so it's in hand but no pics. The other USSR coin I got I won't see before I go. I wasn't thinking when I bid on it...at lest it was only a couple dollars!
So . . . any mail you get after you leave will be waiting for you when you get back? The reason I ask is no matter what, I am gonna get those bull coins out to you.
