My brother is a coin dealer. He runs a shop here in town. He asked me if I would like to help him at his table last Sunday. I asked what I'd be doing, and he said "You know, the basic stuff. Give people prices, answer questions, and watch for thieves. If anyone has anything you don't know, send them to me." I asked if he was paying and he told me that he'd buy lunch, but if the dealers around the shows get to know my face from the dealer side of the table, that I would benefit in better prices when I go to buy. This I think is the better of the two, but free lunch is cool too, plus I get to spend the day talking coins and looking at coins! Wow!!! What a day!! We had sooooo much fun. We did about twice as much business as a normal show there, and so my brother was very pleased. He told me that i can come work the table anytime, whether he needs another person or not and he STILL buys lunch!!! Don't tell my brother, but I'd do it for free!!!! Maybe when I retire, I'll go and help him out all of the time. It'll be a nice way to spend time with my brother.[/QUOTE]
