I really should stop looking at coins on eBay... that said, when I received these coins I realized that they looked a little weird to me (compared to the others I've purchased in the past. In the 1500s, in Poland, were they stamping their coins on sheet metal in bulk, and then punching them out afterward? That's rather what these coins look like to me. On some of the coins I can see the edges of another stamp... was this typical? Even with a few of them a little beat up or bent, they also have amazingly regular edges compared to everything else I've ever gotten.

What are the odds that these coins are real?
Ooops. So far, in my looking at VCoins (where I typically try- in vain- to identify my coins on the basis of comparable features), I've not come across these... then again, I still have another 40 pages to look through. Given that I bought two other sets of coins from this seller, I'm hoping that these are all real so I stop worrying about the others. :O) If not, I'll chalk this up to a learning experience.
