Three years ago, they had to start publishing a separate book, just for all the enormous amount of NCLT that they churn out, most of which can be purchased on the secondary market 2-3 down the road for 50-60% of issue price.&nbsp; The book for just RCM stuff is bigger than the book for all circulating coinage since 1858 and all the introductory and ID material.&nbsp; The coins that they put out commemorate odd things with odd anniverseries, like 95 years ago.... or things that just have a tenuous tie to Canada, like the Superman stuff or Johnny Appleseed.</p><p><br /></p><p>My personal opinion is that the RCM saves those that are looking for items a little grief when they see how much their granny bait depreciates.&nbsp; It&#039;s called granny bait up here because of the post office sales ... where Mildren says to her aging husband, Fred, &quot;Oh, look wouldn&#039;t little Johnny just love this for Xmas.&nbsp; And 10 years down the road little Johnny wants to sell his treasures for a little high school beer and finds out he can&#039;t even buy a 12-pack.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
