I see this often on dimes..what is it?

    These photos are all of the same 2017 P Dime

    Good morning CT! I see this on dimes once and awhile. The rim is weird. Almost like 2 or 3 rims. Whats this error called? Is this an example of MAD? Or something to do when it was put into the press machine?

    Yes, slightly misaligned dies, I believe, though I'll defer to the error folks on that.

    Likely not worth any premium. I do see it more on dimes myself, when I bother paying attention to my pocket change.
