I originally purchased this Morgan back in the sixties for $1.00 and sold it for $44.00 yesterday

I like that. It folds right into the Chicago Coin Club's motto, which translates as "We learn by teaching."

Best stuff I ever learned at an ANA show was following up on answers to questions from the audience at one of my Money Talks.

    I think I love anyone who can get $44 for a VF/XF raw 1899-O Morgan. :)

given that you're taking a synical point of view, I would say No, it's about power.

Money. Power. Two sides of the same coin.

Thing is, some lawyers will take cases that can't be won just to milk a client of fees. That happened here.

yes, Kurt. I have seen it first hand.
In 1961, my parents bought a house for $21,000. In 1977 they divorced and the house sold for $67,000. They both walked away without a dime. Guess who got it all?

Anyone who gave a dime for one of Dr. Stein's recounts was a sheep being shorn.

Well that is why I am cynical. I treat every business as it is. A business. I dont care what you are. Dentist, lawyer, plumber, it's all just business. Bills dont get paid by telling someone they cant win a case or that their water heater doesnt need to be replaced. How often is a $29.95 oil change on your car actually only $29.95? Somewhere along the line, it became more important to make money than to have any ethics or integrity.
