A Quartz and Gold specimen in which the Gold assayed at 19.54 ounces was found last year not very far from where I live. The gentleman that found the specimen, was offered $800,000 for it but he turned it down! It is the largest Gold specimen (considered a Nugget) found East of the Rockies in more than 100 years.
