I have searched and searched and I still have not found anything about this coin. I thought maybe it was from either from Great Britain, France or maybe Spain. I'm at a loss...any help with this would be much appreciated. BTW it is about 1/4 inch thick. Thanks!
It appears to be a coin weight, usually made of brass and weighing the same as the real coin it was compared against,Guinea, Half Guinea, Third or a Quarter or even European gold coins. Weigh it in grams and I will try and ID it later, I have to go out, unless someone else does it sooner.

Just got back, On second thoughts this could be 12 Pence XII , or its equivalent in French looking at the Fleur-de-lis. This site might be more helpful, but its a pita clicking each photo. http://www.abccoinsandtokens.com/Coin Weights.html
I think your right Davey...I also think it may be French. Thanks so much for your all your help! I will see if I can track this exact coin down. I will keep you posted if I come across it.
