I need aloha help...lol

    1853 seated liberty....no rays....no arrows...no banner....minted in Philadelphia.....have found no info on my own.....

    Nice manly chest hair, bruh.

    I've seen this before. Even owned one. The rays and arrows are tooled off, but the person that did that (trying to pass it off as the rare no arrows no rays variety) failed to realize that the coin had to be an O mintmark.

    Sorry bout leaving two posts......still haven't figured all this out......hope y'all dnt hold it against me......This coin has been annoying the hell outta me......i can't seem to figure it out....and this is the first coin that I've ever had speak to me......I found it under a house....that we were resetting the foundation on.......only coin I have ever found and kept

    You've had an interesting find. Unfortunately, it sounds like the coin has been altered based on what C-B-D has said. As such, I'd say it is now more of a novelty coin (although it retains its face value) and likely isn't worth more than bullion value.

    Yep. No jackpot, sadly, but if you're not into it for too much money, you've got a curiosity, anyway. It's still an 1853 Seated half, despite the tinkering.
