    I always liked circ cam coins like this, especially in half dollar size. It's a combination of seeing the broad outlines of the coins in high contrast, with the fact that the coin was actually used in commerce, and also that its doesnt look like it was destroyed with an axe like some coins.

    For my way of thinking, Heavily worn, but in a pleasing smooth circ-cam manner is > lightly worn, but scratched and dinged all the heck.
