Since I started this thread, my pig took a little trip and came back home...

 

I thought the pig was buried in some type of pit and roasted???? I have never taken part in such but I have heard of it.

 

Yes. I partook in the pit roasting in my teen years. They just simplified it over time.

 

Ahhh ok. Where did the pig come from farm raised or wild

 

If you roast wild pig, be sure it’s WELL done! I like corn fed
