I Know You Have Gas.....

The Lincoln's I posted were from the GI Joe collection I photographed a couple of years ago. They were probably in that condition already when they were slabbed. I am basing that assumption of what I have seen with proof Lincoln's I have submitted for grading. Most every year from 1983 to 1990 have bubbled surfaces, though not as dramatic as GI Joe's.

These were taken directly from sets I purchased new from the mint.

What is a GI Joe set?

 

There is/was a member here called GI Joe. His set of Memorial Lincoln's were #1 ranked on the NGC Registry. About a year ago he sold the whole set.
