I found some in circulation the same time! Probably shoulda sold them and made a few bucks total.</p><p><br /></p><p>Im a computer guy and remember fools paying $1000 to be the first to own a new CPU or video card a month before it became available in stores for half or a third the price. Even after it became available in stores, a year later prices halved again. I then was able to pick up those computer parts for pennies on the dollar a couple years later. The computer I have cost me only $200 and it&#039;s very fast! It used to cost ten times that 3 years before I bought it! That&#039;s why I always buy 2-4 years behind the curve.</p><p><br /></p><p>I once did overpay and spent $200 on an Athlon 64 CPU that was costing $400 6 months earlier. It dropped to $100 less than a year after I spent $200 on it.</p><p><br /></p><p>There was a tulip bubble long ago and a beanie bubble a decade ago. I still remember that one and how some beanie babies were selling for over $1000! They have lost over 90% of their bubble value.
