And that is why as a consumer, you have the choice to purchase or not purchase items from a company. My grandmother collects Cat's Meow houses. They are small wooden houses that are painted and have a small black cat on each of them. They run about $14-$40 per house for wood and paint that costs less than $1. This is not something I would ever buy, but she adores them. You know the saying, "something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it." It is the same thing with items like Abercrombie & Fitch jeans. They cost about $70 a pair and probably contain less than $3 worth of denim. Again, this is not something I consider a value so I don't shop there....but I know plenty of people who happily pay this price to have their logo'd apparrel.

I believe that we provide our customers excellent products, value, and service. Some people appreciate that they don't have to go out searching for newly minted coins and like that they can be confident that each coin will be shipped as soon as it has been released. Please do not mistake my comments as marks against A&F or Cat's Meow. I understand that there are many costs associated with running a business that the consumer does not see. For example, our employer offers us a very nice benefit plan and we are paid fair wages that allow us to support our families -- these and many other things affect the pricing of a particular product. Surely, no one on this forum is naive enough to believe that a company could sell an item for a little above cost and continue to be in business for long. We aren't the US Government after all.
