I've got my video unit out to record the train wreck after noon time. Any time someone has refused to take the advice of those who KNOW the variety, when they say 'sorry, not the variety' (in this case, Close AM's). Funny, but the owner of the coin just KNOWS it's the biggie and can't face facts, is CERTAIN it's the biggie, but now needs to take them to a coin shop? That's uncertainty in my eyes. Why bother asking here if you KNOW for a FACT it's a close AM?? What happens when the 'dealer' tells you the same thing you've been told here? Also, just hope the dealer knows the variety. I notice more and more dealers know much less than longtime forum members. With the OP stating: 'It says the A & M don't touch, that's all I need to know'......he still won't be convinced, and does need to know more about the variety. In the images of both coins, the A and M don't touch. If they don't touch, it doesn't mean it's the Close AM. The images show that NEITHER the Wide or Close AM touch. It's not a 'welp, the A&M don't touch, so these are CAM's',

I KNOW that no matter what, no matter how many times the OP is told WAM, he'll insist he still has the Close AM. We've seen it seemingly hundreds of times, and we're about to see it happen again. Where it's 12:30pm, here on the east coast, it should only be a matter of a little time until we hear from the O.P. If he doesn't update us after having them checked out (just a waste of gas to hear what he heard already), these might just pop up on ebay as Close AM's (take the pubes off first, before imaging again, please?).[/QUOTE]
